IFSA Staff Roles and Responsibilities
Pam Chumley, Executive Administrator
Ms. Chumley guides the overall progress of the association, under the purview of the Board of Directors, in all areas including administration, finances, strategic planning, membership recruitment and retention, meeting management and public relations. She works closely with the Executive Director and the overall team to ensure client needs are met and association interests are protected and championed. She also serves to guide the overall mission of the IFSA Foundation.
Emily Myers, Executive Director
Ms. Myers is responsible for the overall management of the Association and oversees project management related to administration, finances, strategic planning, government affairs and education, membership recruitment and retention, meeting management and communications. She guides staff responsible for promotional, meeting and administrative functions to ensure best practices are followed, client needs are met and association interests are kept top of mind and promoted.
Kelly McLendon, Programs Manager
Ms. McLendon works closely with the Executive Director and facilitates many of the administrative functions of the Association as well as the activities of the IFSA Foundation, Mentorship Program, Ideation Committee, Sponsorship Committee, and the Annual Meeting. She maintains relationships with current IFSA sponsors and partners as well as reaching out to new prospects. In conjunction with the IFSA Communications Manager, Ms. McLendon maintains the website, conference updates, surveys, and more.
Steve Gigantiello, Meetings Manager
Mr. Gigantiello, working closely with the Annual Meeting Planning Committe, coordinates IFSA conference and meetings from conception to completion including onsite management. He is the point person for the Chef’s Competition, site selection, budgeting, contract negotiation, and registration.
Kristi Johnson, Expo Manager
Ms. Johnson is responsible for exhibitor sales and contracts for the annual IFSA Expo. She is the key contact for all exhibitors, providing the exhibition kit information and any additional assistance. At Expo, Ms. Johnson manages any issues on the Expo floor and works closely with the Meeting Manger to ensure a successful event.
Natalie Simone, Communications Manager
Natalie Simone creates all content for IFSA website, newsletters, and marketing collateral, and monitors trade and consumer media. Ms. Simone works closely with the Communications Committee and manages all media requests and cultivates relationships with journalists/bloggers and other media to secure placements. She designs and implements the digital and social media strategy for IFSA.
Elizabeth Johnson, Staff Associate
Elizabeth Johnson handles all customer service and invoicing issues. She handles email inquiries and manages the membership database.
