NEWS FROM GAEC
Good news from Jose Ceballos, National Policy Manager, USDA, APHIS, Q.
Effective immediately, APHIS has authorized Clorox 8.25% (PUMA) for use on spills of regulated garbage so long meets the following two conditions:
1) Clorox 8.25% use in locations where it is registered
2) Clorox 8.25% be used in accordance with the label and master directions.
To reflect this decision, Jose Ceballos is updating the APHIS Regulated Garbage Website, Regulated Garbage Manual and will prepare a publication on the APHIS Stakeholder Registry.
The official publication should be out in the following weeks. Please verify this chemical is safe to use on board your aircraft prior to use.

Her Job: Listen to customer challenges and work to find solutions to fit their needs. Travel to food shows throughout the year in search of new and interesting products and learn about latest onboard food trends. Allison notes that she loves her job because it gives her the opportunity to problem solve on a regular basis, "most 'off-the-shelf' items will not work onboard due to various issues (weight, pricing, pack sizes etc.), but I have to find a way to make it work!"
Why IFSA:"The many educational and networking opportunities offered are ones I wouldn't have without the association. The Annual Conference and EXPO offers suppliers a priceless opportunity to engage in conversations with key buyers to learn about each airline's specific needs."
