2013 Scholarship Winners >>

Past Winner Jason Logie

“I am not a traditional student. As a returning adult student, after having been in the workforce for many years, I have come to understand the importance of a formal education. Winning the IFSA Foundation Tommy DePaola Scholarship Award relieved some of the burden left from leaving my career and allowed me to study aboard.” -- Jason Logie, Pennsylvania State University

Past Winner Wei Wang

“As a future tourism professor, I hope to advance tourism curriculum by bridging the gap between theories and skills needed in practice. Winning the IFSA Foundation Horizon - LSG Sky Chefs’  International Management Scholarship Award helped me financially on the development and implementation of many ongoing studies. It also encourages me to pursue greater success in airline-related research, teaching and service in future endeavors.” -- Wei Wang, Indiana University

Past Winner Brinton Atkinson

“Winning both the IFSA Foundation Oakfield Farms Solutions and Lois Campbell Scholarship awards were critical in helping further my education and fueling my passion for entrepreneurship. They have made it possible for me to be immersed in business education and put me in a position from which I can better contribute to the airline industry. Because of my strong motivation and exceptional work ethic, I believe scholarships like these were the best thing for me.” -- Brinton Atkinson, Brigham Young University
