International Inflight Food Service Association

Mike CurrieWhile the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City are a golden memory, the world-class setting that hosted them anxiously awaits our arrival. We invite you to attend the 39th Annual International Inflight Food Service Association’s Conference and Exhibition, where we will convene for inspiration and forge new paths within the industry.

Salt Lake City is the entertainment center of the state of Utah, which affords attendees the unique opportunity to enjoy civilized pleasures and rustic mountain getaways within minutes of each other. We guarantee you’ll find a scenic backdrop that is both serene and inspiring at this important conference.

Our Headquarters hotel this year is the fabulous Grand America. This truly extraordinary hotel was inspired by the charm of Europe’s classic hotels and was meticulously crafted from the finest materials by gifted artisans. The Exhibition will be housed in the Salt Palace Convention Center, located a few blocks away via an easily accessible, complimentary trolley streetcar system.

Powerful presentations are planned. Our keynote speaker, Michael Boyd of The Boyd Aviation Consulting Group, is one of the most visible and respected aviation analysts in the world. Over the past 15 years, he has been called upon by virtually all major media for his unique, futurist and often iconoclastic projections on aviation matters. His perspective is fresh, and he is guaranteed to not only inform, but also entertain!

Educational sessions for Salt Lake are timely and most relevant to current onboard industry activities. You’ll have the opportunity to attend a panel session featuring senior airline executives discussing experiences regarding buy on board, and learn the latest from an FDA official on specifics of the new Bioterrorism Act including registration, record keeping and prior notice. All sessions will include extended question-and-answer periods for attendees to obtain information specific to their situation or company.

Join us in “Forging New Paths” at IFSA’s 39th Annual Conference and Exhibition. It’s an event you can’t afford to miss!
